Most upsell widgets annoy shoppers: pop-ups, irrelevant products, extra steps before payment. And every new mechanic — a progress bar, a carousel, a bundle — usually means one more app and one more round of theme code edits.
Solution
Smart Upsell brings upsell campaigns together in one dashboard: progress bars, recommendation carousels, bundles with quantity discounts and promo banners. Each campaign targets its own stage of the shopper's journey, from the product page to the cart. Each campaign is set up with a live preview and switched on independently, without touching a single line of theme code.
Technically, campaigns sync to the storefront through Shopify metafields, and discounts are actually applied at checkout by native Shopify Functions — so cart prices always match what the banner promises.
